This Vintage Reserve 12 years old from Glenrothes was launched in 2015 as an Asia only release. The Master Distiller explains that when blending this single malt the distillery used 12 different vintages ranging from 1973 to 2003. Part of the core range.
Nose: Freshly cooked porridge and melting honeycomb, signature Glenrothes vanilla. Figs and chocolate.
Palate: Apples and pears balanced with Sherry sweetness and mouth coating vanilla. Honey sweetness combines with grain and oak.
Finish: Peppery spice and manuka honey with balanced oak.
