A single cask, cask strength, 15 year old Glenlivet that has been matured for 15 years in an first fill ex-bourbon American Oak barrel. This is a very exciting edition to The Whisky Company’s portfolio!
Named “Glenshee” after the Spital of Glenshee. A part of the ancient smugglers trail that was used for hundreds of years by highlanders, where people would painstakingly smuggle barrels/containers of their whisky down to the lowlands for selling or bartering.
Only 239 bottles are available of this amazing bottling.
Nose: Notes of ripe fruity pear, sweet vanilla and traditional sweets. Followed by a delicate floral aroma.
Taste: Hints of luxurious milk chocolate, creamy toffee, and sweet pear echoing the nose.
Finish: Long, soft and delicate.
